Krabi Town is a working town with traffic, roadworks and building sites, and the dust from them settles fast, especially in the dry season from December to April. Shelves, window sills and the tops of cupboards grey over soon after a clean. Our regular clean dusts every surface and mops every floor, and the deep clean gets the film off the places a duster only moves it around.
Cooking with fresh market ingredients puts oil in the air, and it lands as a sticky film on the hood, the tiles and the tops of the cupboards. Our regular clean takes the grease off the stove, hood and tiles at every visit. A deep clean goes further: behind and beside the stove, inside the microwave and the fridge, the kettle descaled, with degreasers made for baked-on grease and rinsed off before we leave.
From May to November the humidity finds bathrooms, wardrobes and the corners behind furniture. Our deep clean scrubs black mould off the grout and the seals and moves furniture to reach what is growing behind it. Where mould has grown into silicone or grout is stained through, we say so before we start, so you can decide on a re-seal or a regrout instead of paying for scrubbing that cannot work.
Shophouses and family homes that have stood for decades have tile and grout that a new condo does not. A deep clean brings both as far as they will come, and takes the limescale off taps and glass with it. On a regular clean, limescale removal is an extra you can add. Where grout is stained through, we say so before we start, so you know what a regrout would fix and what a clean already has.
